Bosch freestanding refrigerators range in price from 2200 to 3000 dollars, and are considered by many shoppers a relatively premium brand. They consist of three product lines – Bosch 800, Bosch 500 and Bosch 300 series of Linea Counter-Depth refrigerators.
800 Series Bosch Refrigerator
The B22CS80SNS is the top of the line Bosch freestanding fridge freezer. It is a counter depth unit – which partially explains its high MSRP of close to $3000 dollars. These counter-depth refrigerators are built so that their depth is such that it lines up with the front of a typical kitchen cabinet.
This unit is feature packed, including a frameless water and ice dispenser, easy lift shelving, and sophisticated LED lighting. Also, like most modern refrigerators, it is Energy Star qualified.
500 Series Bosch Refrigerators
There are two units in this range. The White B22CS50SNW, and the Stainless Steel B22CS50SNS. The stainless model will set you back an additional hundred dollars at purchase time, but I consider its attractive look worth the additional expense.
The dual evaporator in these Bosch fridges ensures premium cooling performance, and is a feature not often found in cheaper refrigerator brands. These units are remarkably similar to the Bosch 800 model, and are missing very few features that could not do without.
Bosch 300 Series Fridge Freezer
The entry unit from the Bosch free standing range is the stainless steel B22CS30SNS 300 series model. It features an internal airflow system designed to ensure all drawers and compartment within the fridge are kept at consistent temperatures – handy for maximizing your foods storage life.
Bosch also manufactures other kitchen appliances – including wall ovens, cooktops, ranges and dishwashers. Thus is you are contemplating the purchase of one of these premium refrigerators you can rest assured that Bosch has a lot of experience in equipping residential kitchens.
While relatively expensive, a Bosch refrigerator is a quality product that is well worth buying if your budget permits.
